We are seeking a strong and confident Social Media & Content Specialist who will be responsible for developing, owning and delivering our clients social media and content strategy, developing the social media platforms and working with all colleagues across the Group to improve our presence online.
The role requires a creative and enthusiastic individual who has excellent storytelling and copywriting skills; a passion for driving customer acquisition, loyalty, conversion and brand equity.
This role will require a pro-active and hands-on approach, with collaborative working with a number of departments and key business stakeholders across the business.

Social Media:
Work with Head of Marketing to create and develop an overarching social media strategy with commercial objectives to reach lead generation target
Develop social media channels with techniques to engage our audiences, increase brand awareness and build an engaged community of followers
Create regular, innovative and engaging social media content that engages directly with the core demographic of each social media channel
Drive the social media content calendar and ensure this ties in with brand-wide activity and strategy
Own the analytics for all social platforms inside out; be able to analyse and build on successes and learnings to improve social media performance
Provide insights and reporting on social media effectiveness and ROI using data to evaluate end-to-end customer experience (i.e. across multiple landing pages, Ad networks and customer touch points) and provide recommendation for improvements
Responsible for social media monitoring, assigning interactions to the appropriate staff in our Customer Service team
Ensure all social content is on brand and to tone of voice, keeping up-to-date with the latest social media developments and understanding how they could best work
Support the implementation of the social media strategy, including the development of social media guidelines and acting as first point of contact for all social media related initiatives
Monitor and track performance of all social media and content activity, set benchmarks and continually review techniques and best practice
Aware of new social media trends and technology and be the knowledge expert in the Business

Collate, develop, coordinate, distribute and promote a cohesive and high-quality suite of on and off-line content to generate an increased volume of quality leads, and to drive
awareness, engagement and brand preference across various marketing vehicles including web, social media, events, print, and email
Lead the development and curation of high quality content to support our owned, earned and paid media and continually build on the brand story
Ensure all content created follows the overall brand strategy through consistent messaging and design
Create original and engaging content across all key content types including copywriting, video production and the creation of design assets such as info graphics
Create and manage a content development plan based on the Group’s style guidelines, standards and requirements
Maintain and develop a central content database accurately inputting fresh content as necessary
Work closely with the Digital Optimisation Specialist on web content strategies to provide copy and content which will keep the experience fresh, engaging and relevant
Support the wider digital team in content, outreach, SEO and other digital objectives
Facilitate data collection and content generation by liaising with internal teams and business stakeholders in order to maximise reach and influence

Work alongside the Campaign Specialist to manage social media PPC campaigns and monitor to improve CPA performance
Work closely with Marketing & Ecommerce Executive to support business events internally and externally, providing content and social media activity to drive awareness and engagement
Develop social / content metrics and regularly report insights
Monitor and track performance of all social media and content activity, set benchmarks and continually review techniques and best practice
Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to deliver integrated multi-channel brand campaigns from planning to execution
Establish strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders and colleagues across the Group to co-ordinate central content and social marketing plan

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
At least 3 years’ relevant experience with a strong background in managing social media campaigns and digital content
Ability to demonstrate a proven track record in creative and original content writing across both online and offline channels
Excellent copywriting and ‘storytelling’ skills; ability to convey excitement and passion in everything you do with demonstrable experience of writing content in line with SEO
Practical experience of using social media management systems
Highly organised and proactive with a hands-on approach and collaborative working style; self-starter with ability to plan, prioritise and adapt to changing requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to work in a high-growth, fast paced and dynamic environment
Analytical and data-driven mind-set – ability to use numbers and statistics to make decisions
Familiar with evaluating emerging technologies and keeping up to date with the latest social trends and best practices
Innovative thinker with a creative flair; ability to adapt your style to different target audiences or products
